Painting Floors

I'm just dying for someone to commission me to paint their floor.

I've had a few people ask me about it, but no one's really made the commitment (except my creative mom on her porch cement, which I'm excited about!).

Here are some great photos of some homes that have painted floors done juuuuust right, in my humble opinion:

These homes show that you can have painted floors without it being too much. It's almost like tilework or stained hardwoods...but the beauty of it is that it can transform beat-up, mistreated wooden floors into beautiful works of art. Wasn't that sentence poetic of me?
