Ten Minute Artwork

I am in the middle of doing a little redecorating in our living room. I'm lightening things up a bit, but as always, I still am making plenty of room for lots of color (I love color). I knew I wanted turquoise to be a bold pop of color in the room, and I decided to bring it in with some artwork over the sofa. I just smeared and wiped paint onto piece of bristol board with my hand (because I was being lazy, and I didn't feel like going to the studio on Sunday when I did it!), then let them dry out in the sun. I bought these frames from Michael's, and hung them in a group over the sofa. I love them! I feel like they look sort of fancy, but the sketchy turquoise paint keeps it playful.

They are not entirely even. Like I said, I didnt feel like making a trip to the studio, and that's where I keep my level. I probably should've put in the effort to go get it, because the unevenness is driving me nuts! I'll fix it eventually. :)
