My first job of the new year was painting in Jordan's sister's little girl's room. She is 4 years old, and just recently moved out of the room that became her baby sister's nursery. This is her "big girl" room, I guess, and I painted 2 trees and some birds, flowers, and butterflies.
Casey has the "Hailey Bedroom" set from Pottery Barn Kids. I painted some trees on the wall that were softer but complementary to the quilt, and also some images directly from the quilt's cute patterns.
Check it out!
There are 2 trees, one on each side of the room.
(the cute owl artwork is from Target)
This is the tree on the other side of the bedroom.
here is what her bedding looks like:
And I painted a little over the bed, too:
I love the polka dotted leaves!
There are butterflies on the other side of the bed - for some weird reason, I forgot to take a picture of them!
Here are the sweet birds that fly beside one of the trees:
And there's also an owl perched on top of her closet door:
You may or may not remember, back in 2010, I painted an entire dresser (for a different client!) based off of this quilt!
