here are a couple of furniture makeovers that i recently completed...it's always nice to refresh what you already have, rather than just buying something new, every time you need a change. these two furniture pieces were ones that my client has had for years...now they have a new look!

after:
i made a custom template to do a gourd pattern on the back, much like these walls.
distressing on the corners and edges.

Love them both! That shelf is 1 million times better than the before. It looks so high end now. Great job!

ReplyDeleteWhat kind of paint did you use for the silver back design of the tall bookshelf?

Beautiful, Kristen!
ReplyDeleteThey look fabulous! And I have to admit I am OBSESSED with that pattern you used on the bookcase!
ReplyDeleteLove the paint job on the antique dresser. Reminds me of a similar piece I painted for my daughter's room. Ended up taping off a tree with frog tape. I'd love to share the photos with you. E-mail me if you are interested in seeing that.

Kristin,
ReplyDeleteI love all your art projects. You are amazing! I noticed that you use a-lot of Benjamin Moore,do you use this for your murals as well? Or do you use plain acrylic paints.
