room service atlanta.

i'm very excited to announce today, that i am one of the designers/design bloggers that will be working with room service atlanta, to provide new environments for those in need at the nicolas house. the nicolas house is a transitional home in grant park (my neighborhood!) for those needing shelter. the home is one of the only homes that provide for families, (not just single people or just women or just men, etc) so we will be re-furnishing, redecorating and re-placing (and repainting!) in the many spaces that the nicolas house's residents use every day.

i have given my painting services to be used by all of the amazing designers that room service is working with...i'm so excited to help transform some rooms at the nicolas house into warm, personal spaces that the residents will (hopefully) love.

if you get a chance, please check out the room service mission, and also check out some of the blogs and work of my fellow participants! they're all amazing girls, and i'm really honored that i was chosen to be a part of the group. thanks erika and dayka - i can't wait to get started.

i never really talk about my twitter feed on here (i use it a lot for personal use), but i will be doing some tweeting about this project, and i generally tweet about my projects during the week anyway, so if you'd like to follow me, here i am.

  1. Such a wonderful organization - can't wait to see what magic you conjure!

  2. that is awesome. I can't think of a better way to share your talents, than by giving it to those in need. The benefit these families will receive from the well designed spaces will be beyond measure. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

  3. Awesome!! I can't wait to see what you do. You'll get to meet my friend Angela {TPH blog}! What a talented group this house gets--so cool.
