project for h&h home.

last week, i did two small projects for h&h home. these 2 designing women (hah! my mom loved that show.) contacted me a while back, and i am SO excited to get to work with them and know them. they have wonderful taste, and their personalities are just as great! i can't wait to do more work with them in the future. here is a sampling of some of their work (they also run a wonderful online interiors shop):

so cute, right? right.

so, last week, here is the project i did for these ladies.

their client had this pottery barn dresser that was in need of a little make-over:

the "new" room it will be going into is bright, light, and airy, with metallic touches...so the dresser was a little dark for it's new home.

check out the "after", complete with new mercury glass knobs from anthropologie.

base is white dove by benjamine moore, and drawers are whitestone by ben moore. (drawers are not closed all the way, because things were still slightly wet)

i also did a "pretzel" chair that will be used at the vanity in this room:

here is the fabric that the seat will be reupholstered in! beautiful.

heather & helen promise me that when the room is all done, they will get me some great pics of the pieces in their new homes (and with the seat cushion upholstered!).

  7. Those two colors are very pretty together! I love different colored drawers as opposed to the piece of furniture. And the pulls are shiny and cool..... and who's that hiding in the reflection of the mirrored dresser???? ;)

  8. I love both looks! The chair fabric will be fabulous. When you paint chairs like this, do you do it by hand using a foam roller or a spray gun? What type of primer and paint would you recommend? Any hints would be so helpful. I have several projuect that I need to tackle and I'm not quite sure how to do it. Thanks so much. :)
