i really donnnnt like working with oil-based paints, but i had to this week (since i was painting some doors and trim). a few nights, i had to bring my brushes out and clean, clean, cleaaaan them with mineral spirits.
looking into my mineral spirits container the other evening, this is what i saw. i thought it was really pretty:

ReplyDeleteOmg, I loathe working with oil based paints. It's not easy for someone with OCD to deal with that type of cleanup. I can't tell if my brushes are really clean enough or not.
ReplyDeletei commend you for working with oil-based... i've always avoided oil because of the clean-up. what can i say, i'm lazy. :) but yes, the swirls are pretty cool.
