furniture makeover

a couple of weeks ago, i painted a dresser & nightstand set my client had previously found at a salvation army. not sure what hardware she is going to use, but i'm diggin' the new color and clean decorative hand-painted detail...

before i began, they were simple birch pieces. pretty, but not interesting enough:

after: i painted them a pale blue, and did a simple hand-painted design on the drawers:
