i painted the pretty gourd pattern on the walls of a master bedroom, in a cute little loft condo in grant park. i loooove how simple and subtle it is. it's the same idea as the work i did for megan, but since laura wanted a subtle feel, we stuck with using the same color for the wall and the pattern, and i just used a flat enamel to basecoat then a high-gloss to do the pattern. simple & pretty.

Love it...do you do it free hand or use a stencil? Thanks, K
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask the same thing! It looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the talent and patience to do that!
thank you guys!
ReplyDeleteyes, i made a hand-cut stencil, then i painted it on!
Is there anyway you could upload the stencil for us to use? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe design looks fabulous! I am about to paint my bedroom gray/silver and I just wondered if you could tell me the colors you used. I've been worried about the walls looking too cavernous.
ReplyDeleteAnd actually, I was asking about the colors used on Megan's walls. I'd want to use a 2-shade difference to create a more striking effect.
ReplyDeleteYour before bedroom.... the piece above the bed do u have a straight on pic of it? From what I can see I like it.
