this week.

i painted the pretty gourd pattern on the walls of a master bedroom, in a cute little loft condo in grant park. i loooove how simple and subtle it is. it's the same idea as the work i did for megan, but since laura wanted a subtle feel, we stuck with using the same color for the wall and the pattern, and i just used a flat enamel to basecoat then a high-gloss to do the pattern. simple & pretty.

  6. The design looks fabulous! I am about to paint my bedroom gray/silver and I just wondered if you could tell me the colors you used. I've been worried about the walls looking too cavernous.

  7. And actually, I was asking about the colors used on Megan's walls. I'd want to use a 2-shade difference to create a more striking effect.
