two new pieces.

i have two new pieces for sale! i think they are both very beachy and springy. things that are on my mind, i guess. anyway, here we go:

Photobucket

looks like it washed up from the ocean. super-sturdy, solid wood antique piece. measures 50" long by 26" deep and 14.5" tall.

a pale bluish-green color that is really nice! (benjamin moore's "palladian blue"). i heavily antiqued it, and it has one really funky stained area that i love. it's heavily scratched and distressed, so you have to like that kind of thing.

this is the weird-stained section i'm talking about. i really love it, even though it kind of looks like a disease. what, it does. hah! it also kind of looks like a map on a globe, so that's cool, right? this coffee table is sitting in our living room now (as some of you have noticed from my last post), and i will be sad to part with it!

cute little metal feet!

seaside console:

i think it looks beachy, so i tried to style it that way. measures 41.5" across, 34" tall, and 13" deep. i think this is a fairly new piece, because it is good in construction, and very clean. has ten working drawers, great for storage! would be excellent as a tv console, back-of-the-couch table, dining room console, babys room dresser, entryway piece, etc, etc, etc!

  1. You don't know me, but I wish I could do the things you do. Your posts make me smile, so I gave you an award. If you are interested, it's posted on my blog.

    Thanks for sharing your work.

  3. You've had some great things but that table is by far my favorite of your creations. Stunning!

  4. I've been "following" you on FB: don't know how I got there! and just took a look at the blog. This is really, really nice! I can't believe that table: I just finished painting our bedroom Palladium Blue! It's the first time I have EVER used blue in my house (I'm a yellow, green, neutral person...and red...). Anyway, it looks great, esp with dark furniture against it.
But this table is fabulous. I dabble at redoing/painting furniture, but oh, this is superb. I will be back for sure!

aneyefordetail: yes, this color is really beautiful - it's hard to discribe, isn't it? it's such a blue-green, that it could really be either. very beachy!!

  7. You are sooo stinkin talented! I have a white armoir that I am distressing. I would love to paint a pattern on it but I always run into the problem of making it symmetrical and matching to the other side...how do you do such even patterns on the walls? I absolutely love your work!!!
