happy chic home contest

good morning, guuuuys.

i stumbled upon (sometimes i am weird and just google keywords to find pictures of design-ey things) this awesome home decor contest titled "the incredibly happy chic home contest" judged by none other than mister jonathan adler himself and anne e. collins of "" it happened in summer of 2008, but i am loving the photos of the winner's home:

weird: the other day i was thinking about making some silhouette pillows for our bed...before i saw this picture. anyway. weird. don't judge me if it still happens -- i came up with the idea before i saw this picture!!!!!!! :)

the tennis balls in a jar here remind me of my cheese balls in a jar:
look at their green front door! (!!!!!)
***i am trying to learn how to make the photos on my blog larger. i hate how small they are, but i can't figure out how to change the size in photobucket. i know where the dimension edits are, but when i go to change them, they automatically revert back to their original size! if you have enlightenment on how to do this, please let me know at grazie.

  1. Hi,
You should use Windows live writer. Then you can just insert your picture into the draft and make it as big or as small as you want. Writer is basically a blog editor. It functions similar to Word and when you press publish it publishes directly to your blog. I was in heaven when I found it. You may already use a publisher but if you don't let me know and I'll tell you how to get Writer.

  2. ah! i don't know anything! clue me in! i'll take it.
