pieces...again?

i wrote about the store "pieces" here in atlanta, owned by designer lee kleinhelter after i saw her home in "cottage living" magazine, but she is all over the blog-land these days, and i found myself google-image-searching photos of her store and home last night. so much inspiration! it's very jonathan adler, just a little more cleaned up and streamlined, i guess.

i haven't ventured to her store yet, but i accidentally passed it leaving a jobsite the other day, so i think i might have to hit it up for some window shopping and inspiration soon!

look at these beautiful photos i borrowed from design*sponge's interview with miss kleinhelter:

these chairs are wonderful....you know i love a good old fashioned chair makeover:
love the lines on that pink (or red? can't tell...) armoire! very "imperial trellis", right? her use of orange makes me want to pick up something in this shade for mi casa...
i love all the beautiful pillows. i have been on a pillow hunt lately, and just cannot find pretty pillows ANYWHERE that are at below $100 per pillow. i mean really...if anyone has suggestions in this department, please share. i want some really pretty graphic pillows for our bed, and i cannot find any that are what i am looking for. most of them are too boring for me (IE target, z gallerie, west elm, bed bath and beyond...). etsy has some, but i would really like to see them in person before buying!
i love the kelly green! it's a favorite color of mine. pairing it with the chocolate brown is all the more delicious!
there are about 100 lovely things in this photo:
(ps i love the hable construction pillows in the photo above.)

  1. This place is oozing expensive. I guess it's not on our list of go-to's when we finally go thrifting?
