"vintage" fireplace

here are the final 'after' shots of caroline's fireplace. i took her traditional fireplace and made it look like an old wooden fireplace with yellow paint chipping off. she and her husband did some new tilework and painted the walls a cool blue. isn't it cute!

  1. We are so enjoying the fireplace now! Thank you for saving it!!!!

  2. Wow...I love that. This is making me squirm a little because our mantle is exactly like the before version, and I love the after so much more!

  3. Amazing! The splash of primary colors certainly bring out the liveliness of the fireplace. You did such a good work with this classic vintage style. I'm definitely sticking around to read more of your works!

  5. I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
