Billy Buttons

I always love to get fresh flowers for around the house, but I am always sad when they die within a few days (I never put the extra effort into keeping them alive for longer than that...other than keeping the vase full of water, I just can't get myself interested in all of the other "tricks" of keeping flowers alive!). For some reason, I feel the difference of having live flowers around, rather than fake flowers...no idea why, probably because I'm weird like that.

Anyway, I found these flowers on a recent trip to Whole Foods, and was soooo excited when they kept their exact same look after they died! It's like they automatically dried themselves, and I didn't have to hang them upside down or anything! Plus, they're supercute and not so "flowery" looking. Here are a few pics of the cute little posies I'm talkin' 'bout...

(images are from design sponge and making it lovely)

I plan to keep hunting down more versions of real flowers that look the same even after the water dries up! I guess it's a certain type of flower that doesn't really require a lot of water...kind of like baby's breath. Anyway, if you have any suggestions, please tell me! I would love to find a larger flower that looks the same as this...
