Top Design!

Anybody else out there lovin' some Top Design?

I'm not normally a huge fan of reality TV, but I really like Project Runway and it's new little sister, Top Design.

The Projects! The Money! The famous interior designers!

We are down to only three contestants now-- my favorite out of the 3 is definitely Preston (How is Nathan in the top 3?). Eddie Ross was eliminated this week, and as annoying as he was on the show, I kind of liked him. I mean, he works as a stylist for Martha Stewart, so come on. He was being nailed for being a "one trick pony," but I think it's just that he seems to have a certain style that he sticks to (given it is a very "Martha" look), and most designers do. You like what you like. Plus, he has a cute blog.

Anyway, I'm kind of jumping on the Top Design bandwagon late, but I plan on watching the episodes that I missed on Hulu.com...I love seeing people like Jonathan Adler, Todd Oldham and Jeff Lewis all together! (How cute is Jonathan Adler in real life? I've been familiar with his work for a while, but never seen him!) Also, I know Kelly Wearstler is on sometimes too, and I can't wait to hear her critiques/see her cute outfits as well. Heaven!

Goodbye, Eddie!

Also, if that was the Real Deal Eddie Ross, I would like to say that who hasn't heard of putting a sofa up to a table a la the design in the last episode? Are you kidding me? Gimme a break... jus' tryin' to find somethin' ta hate on. Haters gotta hate.
