So this post isn't really paint-related, but not all of my creative adventures are. So there.

Anyway, a friend texted me the other day (hollaaaa, Michel) that Martha has now taken over Walmart.
OK, I remember when Martha used to only be in K-Mart. I had a lovely pastel-colored quilt from her collection there with matching pillow shams, shower curtain, window treatments, trashcan and throw pillows. They were different colors of just simple blocks. Kitty and I loved them.
Then, she moved onto expanding her collection to Lowe's paint colors and Michael's in the craft section. Huge fan there too, as previously mentioned. Love her crafty packets you can buy (although do we really need a packet that costs 9.99 to make tissue flowers that my mom taught me to make when I was 8? No. How much does a packet of tissue paper cost?)
Just as I was wondering why Martha hadn't begun to put her lovely signature in Target's ever-expanding collection of "designer" goods, I see that she has cleaning tools and supplies in the home goods section! Everyone needs a handy carrying crate that matches their toilet scrubber and sponge.
So back to Walmart. As much as I hate the place, sometimes it's necessary for cheap goods. Just necessary. I go maybe 10 times a year...and I suggest you go right now as well. Especially if you're planning for a wedding...check out these super-cute goods:
